Fed up with energy being wasted? Snap it off!
Do you get frustrated with other people wasting energy? Well now there's something you can do to stop it.
NUS has launched Snap it Off - a photo gallery of ecological naughtiness.
The scheme is all about lights, especially
lights on where it is sunny, places with too many lights and old inefficient light bulbs. The plan is that students
send in photos from their campuses, NUS publishes them, and then those in charge of lighting will hopefully do something about
it!
All you need to do is take a photo from your phone or camera and send it to NUS by texting 07725202020, or
submitting it via Snap it Off.

Susan Nash, VP Society and Citizenship at NUS, said "We hope
students will take photos when they see energy being wasted and send them to us so we can do something about it.
"It is such a big problem – from lights being left on in lecture theatres to streetlights on in broad daylight,
it is time that we all did something to help make a difference and stop the needless waste," Susan added "I’d
encourage everyone to save the Snap it Off number in their mobiles!"
