College Policies & Procedures
anti-harassment & bullying policy	The Anti-Harassment and Bullying Policy describes how the College aims to provide a learning environment free from harassment and bullying in which the dignity of all learners is respected.
anti-harassment & bullying procedure	The Anti-Harassment and Bullying Procedure defines what is meant by ‘harassment' and ‘bullying' and describes the action to be taken by an learner who feels that he/she is suffering from harassment or bullying.
disability equality duty	Find out about the progress made by the college since we set up a Disability Equality Scheme in December 2006. These documents are available in PDF format. disability equality scheme	The Disability Equality Scheme describes the College’s commitment to promoting equality of opportunity between people with or without disabilities, eliminating discrimination and harassment and promoting positive attitudes towards disabled people.
disability policy	The Disability Policy describes the College's commitment to providing an environment where disabled learners and staff can maximise their potential, contribute to the best of their abilities and have equality of opportunity in recruitment, training and promotion.
equal opportunities policy	The Equal Opportunities Policy describes the College's commitment to provide equal opportunities for learning and to recruit students on the basis of their ability and the requirements of their course, irrespective of their ethnicity, gender, marital status, age, disability, political beliefs, religious beliefs, or sexual orientation.
equal opportunities procedure	The Equal Opportunities Procedure describes how, in its recruitment processes and learning and teaching, the College will ensure that applicant or learner will receive less favourable treatment on the grounds of ethnicity, gender, marital status, age, disability, political beliefs, religious beliefs or sexual orientation.
guidance policy	The Guidance Policy describes the College's commitment to ensuring the provision of a Guidance Service for all learners which is impartial, accurate, confidential, friendly and accessible.
guidance & progression procedure	The Guidance and Progression Procedure describes in detail the College's guidance services, the entitlement of learners to guidance support and the roles and responsibilities of staff involved in providing guidance to learners.
race equality policy	The Race Equality Policy describes how the College to eliminating unlawful racial discrimination, promoting equality of opportunity and promoting good relations between people of different racial groups.
race equality procedure	The Race Equality Procedure describes in detail how the College will put its Race Equality Policy into practice through its approaches to leadership and management, monitoring ethnic data and assessing all policies and procedures to ensure the elimination of any unlawful discrimination.
race equality scheme	The Race Equality Scheme gives an overview of previous work and tells of our future plans to ensure the college can to eliminate unlawful racial discrimination, promote equality of opportunity and good relations between people of different racial groups.
