Being a Class Rep means you can make a difference and as a representative
you play an important role in your department. Class Reps are vital as they act as the link between students and staff,
providing the College and the Students' Association with much needed feedback through Course Review Meetings
and meetings of the Learner Forums.
What do you need to do as a Class
rep?
If you are up for it, want to improve the students voice at Adam
Smith College, want to enhance the quality of the teaching and learning you and your fellow classmates and future students
receive as well as gain invaluable key skills for your CV then guess what?...your ideal because you have the
makings of a good Class Rep.

Some of your responsibilities will include:
• Talking with your fellow students to find out what views and problems need to be raised at the Course
Reviews and Forums
• Keeping in contact with
your Campus Convenor to raise any matters of urgency between College meetings
• After attending any meetings reporting back all issues discussed to your class mates
so they know what is happening too
Do
you need any experience?
No experience is needed. If you're are registered student at Adam Smith College you
can stand for the position. The Students' Association will organise training for you so you will be equipped
with the skills and information to allow you to be confident in carrying out your role. We are here to support Class
